In the future, when our children’s children’s children are taking history class, our time in history might be known as the “Green Era.”
That is, the time where everyone realized that our current pace in destroying planet earth with pollution and littering was a huge problem. It was the time we noticed that if we didn’t change, we would all die soon.
It was the time when everyone started buying those nifty reusable bottles and when throwing your cigarette butts out the car window was considered to be in bad taste.
It was also the time when Lauren Elizabeth started reusing once fired bullet shells to make stunning necklaces. Her jewelry line, Reload, is the perfect representation of the time that we live in: an era of vintage infatuation, disturbing viciousness made into incredible art, and a love of all things shiny. The line, first started in July, is sold on Facebook and Etsy.com and has pieces for both men and women. They vary in neutral tones that include: black, silver, grey, and crystal, and match with everything, which is lucky for me because I wear mine all the time!
