I try my best (not all the time honestly) to be early to whatever important events that occur in my life. Usually I am 20 minutes early or more to every class I have. Occasionally though, I find myself rushing in at the very last minute. I have only been late to class once and that was a slightly terrifying experience. No one was paying attention to the lecturer and was watching me descend down to my seat. Even so, I am late to other things like events, parties, meetings with friends and family gatherings. Typically my parents and siblings are the ones who make me late to everything. It takes way to long for all of us to get anywhere.
I don’t really find myself being bothered by very late people. I just wonder why they even bother to come. The only time I dislike late people is when they hold up the entire class. One girl in my class always came late, like 10 to 20 minutes late. Then she would proceed to ask simple questions that could be addressed during office hours or understood if she was on time. My professor would always answer her and it would annoy me to no end. People would post about her on Yik-Yak and during those minutes of him trying to explain a concept to her I would entertain myself with that. She would sometimes raise her hand to say what she found was funny in the lectures. That is the only type of late that would make me dislike tardy people.
