As we of the beloved Northeast frolic in October, we don our cozy sweaters, sip warm apple cider, and wax poetic over the crisp autumnal wind that has come to replace the soft zephyrs of summer. In a few months, we’ll move on to humping the Christmas leg for all its sentimental worth, but for now we’re all mesmerized by the powerful spell of fall. The Rutgers Review would now like to present a collection of haikus to celebrate this season of temporary insanity and to thank God for the gift of five syllables that is a “pumpkin spice latte.”
