Hi, everyone! My name is Karis and I am a freshman majoring in journalism and IT. I love manga, art history, video editing, and anything matcha, but I'm especially in love with languages (I'm currently studying Korean and Spanish simultaneously!), and this is what my column will center around. “Lost in Translation” is dedicated to anything involving language. I explore topics such as translation, language learning, the history of languages, (global) literature, and more. Although my primary languages are English, Korean, and Spanish, I love exploring linguistics and language learning as a whole, and I hope my column reflects this!
